COVID-19 Screening & Protocols

  • Upon entering the office, patients and practitioners will have their temperature taken. Anyone with a temperature of 100.4 or above will not be allowed to stay (per CDC guidance). 

  • All patients will be screened for the following symptoms prior to their appointment and no practitioner will come to work if they are experiencing the following symptoms: fever, shortness of breath, cough, chills, unfamiliar muscle aches or headache, sore throat or new loss of taste or smell, skin rash,

  • Practitioners and patients will wear a mask at all times, including during their treatment.

  • Patients should not bring anyone else to their appointments, but if they are necessary for an aspect of patient care, they will be pre-screened in the same way as patients. 

  • Patients must notify their practitioner if they are suspected or confirmed to have COVID-19.

Social Distancing

  • All staff will maintain 6’ of distance from each other. 

  • Patients will not arrive more than 5 minutes before their appointment to avoid crowding in the waiting room and if they are in the waiting room, they will stay 6’ away from other patients and practitioners.

Disinfection Procedures

  • Patients are asked to wash or sanitize their hands upon arriving at the office. (Hand sanitizer will be provided in the waiting room and each treatment room)

  • Frequently touched surfaces will be disinfected after each patient .

  • All clean laundry will be kept in clean and sealed plastic bins. All dirty laundry will be kept in sealed, separate containers.

  • Patients will be spread out in order to allow for enough time to properly disinfect the treatment rooms between each patient. 

  • HEPA air purifiers have been added to each treatment room and 30 minutes will be blocked off between each session to open windows and thoroughly air out the treatment rooms.
